Smoke DetectorsWhen it comes to home fires, an early warning is everything and smoke alarms are a relatively inexpensive protection system.
Smoke detectors are a critical part of your home’s safety. According to the National Fire Protection Association, nearly half of the nation’s fire deaths occur in the four percent of homes that do not have smoke alarms. We can create a safety plan for your home, which includes installing smoke alarms on every floor, in hallways and inside bedrooms and outside of sleeping areas. If you have smoke alarms installed, we can inspect them to ensure they are working properly and determine if you have the necessary alarms in the right places. It is important that your smoke alarms are hardwired with batteries as back up should you lose power.
- Smoke alarm safety plan and installation throughout the home
- Inspection of existing smoke alarms. Smoke alarms should be replaced every ten years.
- Replacement of non-working or old, outdated smoke alarms. Alarms should be hard wired with batteries as back up.
- Routine inspection to make sure smoke detectors are in working order.
